Lonely Islands is a (non) performatic research and design process on social dialogue and participation, using transitory spaces. The project explores strategies of dialogue, conversation and participation among strangers by intervening in a public space. Lonely Islands* can be defined as a process of social brainstorming, an ongoing practice-based research about the links between creativity, human exchange, and the development of horizontal and informal knowledge.
Lonely Islands* is designed to be going on for one evening, alongside other activities, growing throughout the whole duration, responding to and taking inspiration from the specific event.
